pickNothing like starting a good old Nordic detective series. Detective Frank Frølich is a very likeable character. It reads well as a stand alone despite being number 7 in the original Norwegian version.

pickNothing like starting a good old Nordic detective series. Detective Frank Frølich is a very likeable character. It reads well as a stand alone despite being number 7 in the original Norwegian version.
pickFaithless has many of the same elements that I've seen in Kjell's other works, such as dark beguiling female characters, tension charged stakeouts and uncomfortable dinner party scenes. All of these tense elements add to the atmosphere of this Scandinavian story.
