Genocide has come for Wonder Woman and her allies, even stealing her most precious weapon. Only death and destruction can follow. Meanwhile, Zeus creates a new race of men, making the Amazons obsolete and undercutting Wonder Woman‘s purpose in life. Lots of epic battle scenes in this one.

A movie featuring a character that (especially female) comic book readers have been waiting on for 80 years. It took us this long to get it because, according to the studios, "people won't spend money to see a woman in a lead comic role fighting men. Women can't carry blockbuster movies." Snort. #Feminist @RealLifeReading #booktober #Day20 #UnforgettableWomen

I really enjoyed this graphic novel written by Gail Simone. It was engaging and at times humorous. It's rare to find a female comics writer although hopefully that will keep changing.
