Thinking more about nonfiction books & getting students excited about reading them, exploring this vast world we live in. Impossible not to be drawn into Percy Fawcett‘s quest to find the city he called “Z.” This picture book is a great introduction to exploration & the lure of discovery, the resources & manpower required, the Amazon, the dangers & more. Great book for young readers & introduction to truth stranger (or as interesting) as fiction.
