Welcome to Litsy!

Great novel about a mothers experience during the Japanese invasion of Malaysia. My heart broke but my mind stayed strong that they would make it through the war together the whole time I was reading.

I'm spending my weekend catching up on all my reading, especially the Civil War comics for #marvelread, and maybe doing reviews I've been meaning to do. I still don't feel 100% like my normal high functioning self, but I am getting there. I am at least ready to come back to Litsy. I've missed going through everyone's posts so much!

I won another book from Goodreads! This is my second time this month. Something to brighten this awful month. (This is actually my birth month and I always hate July.) I honestly do not remember entering this though. Not one bit. Lol

Got an advanced copy of this via NetGalley. One of the best books I've read in a REALLY long time. If you enjoy multicultural historical fiction, I highly recommend this one.
