pickTaking the archaic attitudes of a man born in 1907, writing in 1970 with a grain of salt, my teenage self and adult self agree upon rereading: this is an intriguing premise that didn't go as far as I wanted in exploring gender. Sexism abounds, an apocalyptic world is background noise to slice of life, and the wealthy need to do more than be excused for trying to do some good. A+ banter/writing.
