To Sell Is Human
To Sell Is Human | Daniel H. Pink
We're all in Sales now: we all spend time trying to persuade others to part with resources although most of the time we don't even realise it. Parents sell their kids on going to bed. Spouses sell their partners on mowing the lawn. We go online to sell ourselves on social media sites. In this new book Daniel Pink explores the ways in which we can all improve our sales skills, in every area of our lives.

My second Daniel Pink book. I have liked the both. In this one he revisited the accepted ideas about selling and updated them for our current situations. It helped me rethink old ways of thinking and start considering new things. Creative book. Well written and engaging.

Humans love stories. So use a story to sell your next idea. Follow the Pixar Pitch… it‘s easy!

Incredible! Everyone, whether or not they‘re in traditional sales, should consider reading this book. I learned a lot I can apply to my daily life, not just at my job at Gap. I‘d recommend this for anyone who wants to see selling from a different perspective

Mehso-so

Meh. Sub-Gladwell, post-facto, pseudo-wisdom. I don't read a lot of these kinds of books but our VP Sales recommended it. Some of it was semi-interesting, but a lot of it was nice anecdotes shoehorned into a creaky premise.

Beckys_Books I couldn't sell water in a desert, thank goodness my job doesn't require it. 7y
