CarolynM I loved the Chalet School books, especially the early ones when Jo was a girl in the Austrian Tyrol. I so wanted go to that school! I'm envy you you full set too @Itchyfeetreader @Verity I never quite managed to get them all 7y
LeahBergen @Verity I‘ll post a pic tomorrow. I had read some of the paperbacks YEARS ago but discovered that they had been somewhat abridged and updated? I‘ve been hunting down the old hardcovers and it‘s been tricky! “Show me yours”, too. 😂 7y

elliemcc11 My mum read The Chalet School as a child. I read a good few but preferred Enid Blyton's boarding school series. 7y

Jess_Read_This @elliemcc11 It is! The person who sent me her extra books works there. ☺️ I found an Enid Blyton book at a used bookstore a bit ago and picked it up bc I‘ve heard good things about her as well! 7y
