It was an interesting read with a lot of good ideas so far as I'm concerned, but it hasn't aged well. It doesn't hold up in a 21st century context, simply because Marx and Engels seemed fixated on what had happened as much as what was happening, but not so much with what the future would hold... unless it was the revolution they dreamt of, of course.
Still well worth reading 😊

This was next in the penguin classics and it was a lot easier to read than I thought it would be, glad I read it and I'm pretty sure I'll get to again when I move onto the great ideas series
