Just finished this one this morning -- it really made me roll my eyes that no one suspected the women for a second. Otherwise, though, it's still a lot of fun.
pickAn easy breezy cozy set in 1920s England. This particular one tackles a murder at Henley Regatta (a rowing competition) in Oxfordshire. This is book 6. Daisy's good but not overly complicated and she and her Scotland Yard fiance Alec solve crimes in the usual manner. If you enjoy Rhys Bowen's Her Royal Spyness mysteries then this may be another series for you to pick up. Light and fast, it's a good way to escape for an hour or two.
pickYes, I know.Impatience is my middle name.I got caught up in the Daisy spell & just had to read the next one right away! Bk6 in the Daisy Dalrymple series is my favourite one so far. Set at the rowing regatta in Henley-On-Thames, Daisy is staying at her aunts house to watch her cousin row in the race. But one of the crew is murdered, with no shortage of suspects because the dead man was so unpopular. Beautiful setting & lots of fun. #daisysdarlings
