TANK (Blue-Collar Billionaires #1)
TANK (Blue-Collar Billionaires #1) | M. Malone
2 posts | 6 read | 2 to read
Years ago Tank Marshall swore off fighting. He exercises iron control to keep his anger in check, but his mother was just diagnosed with cancer and the dead-beat dad he hasn't seen in years is back demanding air time. Worst of all, a billion dollar inheritance hangs in the balance if he doesn't do what his father wants. Only Emma Shaw keeps him anchored in the midst of chaos.

Pickpick

TANK ended up being my first finish of 2020, and it was a pretty good way to start the year. Malone‘s characters have nice chemistry, plenty of concerns outside their burgeoning romance, and interesting family structures that feed into who they are.

I‘ll keep an eye out for more of Malone‘s extensive backlist, especially the rest of the books in this series. I want to find out just what‘s going on with Max and his many estranged children.

It‘s #bookandbeer time! I‘ve been dying to try this Embrace winter ale from Barn Hammer Brewing Co for a solid week, but this is the first day I‘ve felt well enough for beer. The first couple glugs were lovely.

I‘m also enjoying TANK so far. It‘s another from my vast pool of digital freebies, and Malone‘s prose gives me a strong Elizabeth Briggs vibe. I hope it keeps up.
