I think this would be a great intro into creative writing and get some peoples minds running. I also think that this would be a great independent reading book for most.

This is about the creators of superman. It is relatable as they are from Cleveland, nerdy, lay low, school boys. But they made one of the most influencial things in pop culture.

(2008) Boys of Steel is the biography on the creators of superman and his comics. As a reader, you get a better idea of the process behind creating a superhero. Also, the way the book is written is cool because they used a comic/comic illustration theme.

I think many students would enjoy reading on the creation of one the most famous superheroes-superman. A lot of students would recognize who superman is from television, comics, movies, and books.

And today, on every story where his name appears, theirs do, too.

This book would be a great read out loud. A lot of students probably would know who superman is and would be very interested to learn about the people that made his comic strips.

This story tells the story of Jerry and Joe, two buddies from high school, and the process it took them to create superman just after high school. It was interesting to find out how Superman saved a lot of people from the Great Depression. The life story of these two men was very interesting and unique.

I love this book because it is about the popular super hero, Superman. This book brings the journey of how super man came to me in a colorful and fun book.

Everyone knows who superman is so this biography about the people who created it. I love stories about people who were shut down for their creative ideas and then end up creating something amazing. It is proof that hard word and dedication pay off in the end. Plus it is super fun to read about how a fan favorite was created.

This book is perfect for children to learn about superhero‘s! A lot of young children have a strong interests in superhero‘s!

Boys of Steel by Marc Tyler Nobleman was published in 2008. The book discusses how superman came to be. Jerry Siegel was always a writer while others flirted with girls or played sports. He wanted to save real people rather than fiction characters saving fiction characters.

This is a perfect book for superman lovers!

Boys of Steel by Marc Tyler Nobleman (biography, published 2008) is a really interesting book. It tell about the creation of a well known super hero & the people who created him. People behind hero‘s are looked at as much so it was interesting to learn about their journey to getting him published! It wasn‘t my cup of tea but it was a good book

Biography. This is a wonderful story for children because it‘s about something a lot of them are surely interested in. Super heroes are of interest to almost everyone, especially children and to learn the history behind them is incredibly cool.

Boys of Steel by Marc Tyler Nobleman and illustrated by Ross MacDonald, 2008. This is a wonderful biography that felt like a comic book itself. The art style lenses itself to the story completely and the story of these two men are so relatable. It was incredibly interesting to learn the story of Superman and how he came to be.

Reading the Afterword though made me feel really bad for these two artists as I noted how DC took advantage of their youth and talent and paid them a measly 130 dollars for all the rights to the character of Superman who was an instant hit to the public. This book is a cute biography about the two men that created Superman. Great for kids to read, especially if they like comics.
