This is the first of a four-book Christian-based saga featuring the Chadwick family as they face hardships on their arduous journey from Missouri to Montana (1864+). It centers around 16 yo Dianne and her struggles, losses and triumphs as she learns to lead her family and falls in love with her new home in Montana. The story was fine, but I found it entirely too long and felt myself slogging through in parts. Also some far-fetched instances. 3/5⭐️

robinb @TheAromaofBooks Yes, while it was OK, I don't think I'll be continuing with this series. It seemed like it took me FOREVER to get through this one. 3y
