At the age of nine, Johnnie lost his parents when they were killed by a blood-crazed vampire. I loved reading this! I saw it referenced on Tumblr and a few clicks later (that darn one click purchase button on Amazon!) and I was reading it! Full of interlocking mysteries - including some of the family skeleton variety - it all that culminates in a high stakes hostage situation. It was such a fun read - loved the (not quite) enemies to lovers storyline.
