This was a very good collection of Bierce's stories. Also, be careful if you go out and buy his collections. Many editions have the same stories in them. Lovecraft must have really loved this guy. Many of H.P.'s stories emulate Bierce.

vivastory The screenwriter for Dexter seasons 1-4, said in an interview after the series finale, that his idea for finale was based on Bierce's "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" It sounded so much better than what they gave us. 7y
