Pickpick

My favorite kind of reading. Epic family relationships during world changing events. From the War of Independence, to learning about the British and French losing their world powers in the War to claim the Suez Canal, and the final war - The Six Day War. I was biting my knuckles when they entered the old city. My only criticism - Wouk either wrote a woman as a seductress or a housewife.

Texreader I loved Winds of War and War and Remembrance by Wouk. Someday I need to read this one. But dang Michener really has me tied down right now. 😉 3y
Butterfinger When I was reading the part of liberating Jerusalem, I thought of you reading when the Jews were forced to leave by the Romans. @Texreader 3y
