Pretty good listen, while walking

I was underwhelmed with this Alex Cross novel unfortunately. I wish Sampson was more involved in Cross's cases, like he was at the beginning of the series. This one felt impersonal to me. I didn't get the sense that Alex was growing as a detective, dr, father, or husband. He felt very static to me. I'm excited to learn more about Ava and see how she fits in with the Cross family!

As always James Patterson does an awesome job writing this series of books. The voice actors did a really good portraying characters making the story come alive.
