Forever a Hero
Forever a Hero | Linda Lael Miller
5 posts | 6 read | 1 to read
For the youngest Carson brother, finding—and fixing—trouble seems to be all in a day's work Mace Carson doesn't consider himself a hero. Back in college, he came upon a woman in trouble and intervened—but he was just one irate Wyoming cowboy with his boots planted firmly on the side of right. Now a successful vintner, Mace is shocked to be reunited with the woman he saved. But it turns out she's in Wyoming on business…a corporate executive representing the company that wants to buy his winery. Only, he's not selling. Kelly Wright has never forgotten that horrible night ten years ago when Mace came to her rescue, has never forgotten him. The surprising success of a winery in the middle of ranch country has brought her to Mustang Creek, and she's secretly thrilled to discover Mace at the helm. Reluctant to mix business with pleasure, Kelly vows to keep things professional, until her attacker is released from prison and comes for vengeance…against both of them.

As soon as I finished the second book in this series I went straight to the computer and ordered these two. I was able to use Doubleday credit for A Snow Country Christmas and put the other on my Target card, even though I really need to not use that card for awhile!

CocoReads Oh man my target card has been maxed out for so long. I'll be paying on it forever I think. 7y
Octoberwoman @CocoReads I make a payment and then turn around and buy stuff. It's never ending! 7y
CocoReads I totally understand. Target is so dangerous! 7y
GA_Bookworm07 I have so many of her books. Havent read any all the way thru 7y
Octoberwoman @AvidBookWorm02 I haven't read anything by her except the first two books in this series but I have around 50 of her older books in my TBR! 7y

Pickpick

I enjoyed it. I know zero things about wine and I wish the "suspense" element had been played up a little more but I did enjoy it overall, so much so that now I need to read the first 2 books in the trilogy.
