Fighting Solitude
Fighting Solitude | Aly Martinez

I was born a fighter. Abandoned by my parents, I spent my life forging my own path-one guided by my fists and paved with pain. Untouchable in the ring, I destroyed everyone who faced me, but that's where my victories ended. Outside the ropes, I repeatedly failed the few people who loved me. Including my best friend, Liv James-the one person I'd die to protect. Even though I didn't deserve her, Liv never stopped believing in me. Never gave up. Never let go. After all, she understood what I'd lost, because she'd lost it too. Liv was everything to me, but she was never truly mine. That was going to change. I lost my first love, but I refused to lose my soulmate. Now, I'm on the ropes during the toughest battles of my life. Fighting to be the man she deserves. Fighting the solitude of our pasts. Fighting for her.

I absolutely loved this trilogy about a boxing family, but this third book about the youngest brother is my favorite. I love the friends-to-lovers trope, and this has the added element of the hero already having had a true love pass away tragically (the heroine's best friend) so I was anxious to see how Aly Martinez would handle that. Spoiler alert- it's handled well! 😂#februaryisforromantsy #romantsy #meghanreadsromantsy

I literally leaped on board the Kindle train in 2008 - a steady, cheaper, and private source of my beloved romance novels?!?! Yes please! 🙋 So for #seasonsreadings2016 #inthemoodforlove I figured I'd post some of my most recent purchases #kindleaddict #romancenovelafficianado

BooksPieAndCoffee The Will!! 😍😍😍 That's my all time favorite KA book. Hands down. And yup, I was right behind you in 2009! I bought a Nook. Best purchase I have EVER made. And I met four of my best friends because of it since we were all newbies and interacted together on the B&N Facebook page. And I've read soooo many more books from having an ereader. ❤️ 7y
Pinkmeghan @BooksPieAndCoffee that's an amazing story! Books really bring people together!!! And I think the advent of ePub has really brought a ton of new authorial voices to the party, which is amazing! I haven't read The Will yet, but it's on my list and I couldn't pass up an ebook sale price! 7y
