It was well written and it somewhat delivered the spirit of Halloween.

Overall, some of the stories could have stood alone as either horror or speculative without capitalizing on the season. These stories in particular felt like they were piggybacking on the holiday rather than glorifying it.

Also, a few stories read as nothing more than underdeveloped thoughts.

Hey, have you heard of All Hallows Read? It's a tradition that was started by author Neil Gaiman a few years ago (www.allhallowsread.com). Is anyone doing this? I gave scary books to my favorite colleagues last year and it was such fun. 🍂🍁📚🕸🎃👻
