Retrieval received a lot of hype, but I have to say, I don't think it lived up to the hype. 1) It was unique and I have not read another book like this. 2) It was well-written. 3) It didn't leave me wanting or needing to read book two. I'm sad to say that I just felt relieved that the book was over and I could move on. That bums me out.

I am currently reading Retrieval by Aly Martinez.

I've read lots of good reviews about this and I am now excited to read it. 👓😍

The Retrieval is the first part of a duet. I waited for the second part to release before starting to read the first part, hence no waiting between releases. These books are very popular on GoodReads. Here's to hoping that they live up to the hype.
