Mehso-so

This book had some promise. The beginning was good and the middle after Marie and Evelyn met was interesting. Finding out the truth of their histories was also fun. But I never felt anything for these characters. I found them all to be passive -- even with Evelyn taking action in some aspects. If felt like a first draft, not a finished novel.

Taking the week off for my birthday. Lots of reading and knitting planned with some cleaning thrown in occasionally. First book I want to finish this week is this one. It's interesting but not drawing me in like I would want.
