Finished Book 5 of the Rockton Series. A baby is found under a dead woman in the snow. Now they have to find the parents. I love the characters here. A town where criminals or people running away from something come to live for 2 years. I was quite surprised how I enjoyed this book. It has Jane Austen references all through. Geared to YA but not childish. Drama, yes, but overall, the conversations between the teens were good. The only reason I read this book is because of the apples 🍎 on the cover. It was bad! A redo of Cinderella and boy it was too long, childish in the conversations would last forever 😒. If you like time travel in the Victorian Era, then this is a great series. Book 2, where Melanie, who finds herself in a young maids body and is actually a cop helps the family solve a murder.
