Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Fun Facts & Trivia: Things To Know About The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Now That Everyone's Officially Watching It | Womack Shelly
4 posts | 1 read
Miriam "Midge" Maisel has it all. Beauty, wit, a home that belongs in a magazine spread, and an alliterative name. Then she loses a major piece of the puzzle: her husband, who philanders and leaves her high and dry after sparking an interest in stand-up comedy in her. It's on the stage that she finds success and herself, and it's online that The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has found similar success. An effervescent comedy from Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, the Rachel Brosnahan-starring series also tackles modern sexual politics with quick quips and antique flair. This book has facts about the Emmy Award-winning Amazon Studios series, which just debuted its second season.

#ItTakesAllKinds #withVacation Mrs Maisel was a delightful show all around, I especially enjoyed the families visit to the Catskills! I‘ve read a lot about it in its heyday, nice to see it come to life on the screen.

Yom Kippur (Hebrew: יוֹם כִּפּוּר or יום הכיפורים), Also known as Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year for the Jews. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jews traditionally observe this holy day with a 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. Yom Kippur completes the annual period known in Judaism as the High Holy Days (or sometimes “the Days of Awe”).

IndoorDame G‘mar tov, have an easy fast if you‘re fasting 🤍 8mo

Tisha Bov
Tisha B'av
Tisha B'ab
Pronounced TISI-a bawve, or to rhyme with 'Misha dove' Hebrew: 'the ninth day of the month "Ab" or "Av." The day of fasting and mourning that commemorates both the First (586 B.c.) and the Second (A.D. 70) destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. (The Babylonians razed the first Temple, the Romans the second.)
