Did a thing and got myself some new wheels!!
Well, I didn‘t even crack a book today, but I did trade in my Explorer for a Bronco Sport! It took 9 hours, 2 dealerships, and a lot of ridiculousness, but it‘s mine. Not what I expected to like, and I sure didn‘t expect to buy on the first day of the hunt. Still, glad it‘s over and we‘re out of the 100-degree heat.
Again... sorry not book related
Here is the decals and the sticker I got when we were out shopping today. Hubby also ordered me a couple from amazon. I do know one of them is a #MomLife one, but have no idea what the other is. The Deadpool one that is in the pic.... the little man wanted it. I am a hippie at heart, so i loved the peace frogs the minute I saw it. And the Pride Coexist sticker is something that is very very close to my heart
Sorry not book related!
So this is my new (well new to me, its a 2011 Kia Soul) baby! Its a little dirty... hello its winter! And this was taken after a car wash. Man I hate snow! It feels very different from what i have driven before. I even have some decals and bumper stickers to put on it. Im gunna deck it out for my tastes and my kids since thats mostly who will be in the car with me.
Next post will be the decals & stickers.
I got a new (to me) truck tonight 😁 Yay for no more minivan!
It took FOUR AND A HALF HOURS, so I‘m glad I had a book in my purse, but we have a new car!
1 1/2 ⭐️ This is a nice story of a kid buying a car. there is a recurring theme that I don‘t like. Bobby has a “magic card, the one that pays for everything”. I think this is a bad lesson to be teaching. We don‘t know if it‘s a credit card or a bank card, just that it pays for everything. We need to teach children about money from an early age, and using a “magic card” is an irresponsible lesson to teach without knowing the origin of said card.
