So I‘ve been looking at some dark academia type books and am looking for recommendations. I‘ve looked through the different ones on goodreads and found a few that seemed good but I wanted some actual opinions. Thanks in advance

5/5 My absolute favourite book from my favourite series. V E Schwab is an amazing author and I fully recommend reading her books (in particular the shades of magic series)

4/5 I watched the Netflix series first last year and I thought it was alright but I never understood the hype. After reading the book I realised just how good this book actually is. It‘s an interesting take on how stalkers view their own actions and manage to justify them and it‘s a terrifying kick in the teeth when you realise that people like Joe exist and people are drawn to them and find his way of ‘protecting‘ someone sweet and innocent
