I enjoyed the ride and the insight Pamuk offered on some of his writing processes, as well as the feeling of closeness? like he's directly relating his private thoughts to his readers. It reads like a journal, like a work of fiction, a meta on his own novels and at times like reviews of books he loved. His influencers, his love of reading and writing, Turkish politics... all of these have provided a wonderful reading experience.
