Neil Gaiman is one of my all time favourite writers and this collection of his non-fiction perfectly encapsulates why. He covers everything from music to comic books to current events. Any aspiring author should read this and learn where inspiration comes from and how important it is to make good art.

I loved this book to heaven and back. A brilliantly written flintlock fantasy with incredible world building (both in terms of multiple developed cultures and the magic system), excellent characterisation and character arcs and real banter and relationships between them. Bardugo has crafted an incredible plot with tonnes of twists, awesome morally grey characters and so. much. diversity (POC, lgbt and disabled characters). A must read.
