Do you love sexy fae males? With bat wings? Who make bargains? Who rule the night court? As similar as Des is to Rhys, the plot of this book is completely different, but still just as interesting and intense as ACOTAR! Definitely recommend this book.

I kept hearing this book was a better version of Red Queen, and I really disagree. While there are a few vague similarities, i would say it's more comparable to Snow Like Ashes or even Throne of Glass. I enjoyed this book, but I didn't love it. And when reading the description for the sequel I was turned off by the upcoming love triangle.

I absolutely loved this book! Very well written, very suspenseful! Normally I need at least romance but I didn't find this book lacking despite no romance.

Rereading this series, and I love it! Mare Barrow is such a bad ass! It can be a little slow in some parts but the writing is excellent and I love the characters.
