How to Build a Girl | Caitlin Moran

I love Caitlin Moran and her non-fiction writing. This was the first fiction I'd read from her and I wasn't disappointed. How to Build a Girl is a young adult book designed for grown ups.

So, this one is good. Is it the best one for explaining the Trump Campaign and everything about it? No. Is it a fun read? No. Is it interesting and somewhat entertaining? Yes. Definitely yes.

God! This book was good... and infuriating. Seriously, if you want to learn something about rape culture or toxic masculinity, this book has the example to look at as to what shouldn't be done.

I absolutely loved this book. It was honest and pure and beautiful. Reading this, I felt like I wasn't quite so alone in my feelings.
