Mehso-so

I had heard so many amazing things about this book and was excited to start it! Unfortunately I was not in the majority and it just didn‘t do it for me. I really loved bits and pieces, Marx was my absolute favorite! But all in all in just seemed really lengthy and just didn‘t hit the mark for me. Overall I still enjoyed it, it just wasn‘t love

I‘m going to be honest, this one took me a bit longer to read than I should have and that is only because I wasn‘t expecting something so deep and intense. This was a phenomenal book that left me in tears.

I really enjoyed this ya book! It‘s a fantasy and reads at a good pace for me. I was left enthralled with the world and the characters, I kept wanting to read more. My one complaint is a felt that the love interest was very one dimensional, I would have enjoyed him having more personality or just something more. Overall I really enjoyed this and highly recommend!

I can‘t believe I have only just learned of these books. If you are looking for a heart wrenching dystopian these are for you. Octavia Butler was a phenomenal author and these books were captivating. These books also discuss important topics such as racism, sexism, and social class
