A heartwarming read that made me both laugh out loud and cry my eyes out. It deals with so many difficult issues and starts an important conversation about the aftermath of trauma, loss, loneliness and most importantly accepting everyone despite our differences. It is a story of survival with a little bit of humour and an outstanding character that you can't help but love. 5☆ and 100% recommend it. One of my 2019 favourites!
