I enjoyed reading this book so much. Just like the author and Chloe, I too have a love for dance. Before becoming a novelist, I was a playwright constructing dance stories. Chloe and Elijah definitely captured my heart, yet it was hard for me to finish the book knowing they will always live in my heart. This book has made its way unto my Recommended Reading List and Recommended Book Club.
It is not like everyday I whip up and create characters like Yvette, but it is everyday that I read characters like Yvette. Yvette captured my heart, and I love it when a character captures my heart despite the back story. It is without any further ado, Dear Yvette has been added to my Recommended Reading List and Recommended Book Club.
My tenth Book is finally live. Link is in my bio.
This story gave me so much inspiration that I placed myself in the shoes of the protagonist. Writing allowed me to express my voice, and Xiomara wanted her voice to be heard. I am grateful to have read the story about a young poet, who goes through this navigation called life. I am also even more proud to have this book in my Recommended Book Club.
In honor of Harry and Meghan's third wedding anniversary, Love Don't Come Easy Part Two is free today and today Only. Link is in the bio.

I remember reading this story a year and a half ago. This was technically my first attempt reading a graphic novel. Very unique storyline and characters as well. It is even recommended in my book club.
A story that not only captured my heart, but a story that is fit for teens struggling with identity and where they stand in society. Cooper captured my heart the most, and as I read the story, I couldn't help but to feel the tears threatening to fall. A story that will also be in my book club as well.
Today my beloved book is on sale today and tomorrow for free. My book is only three years old, but no matter what, people stay reading my baby. Link is in the bio.

Definitely one of my favorite novels. I am an author of young adult romance as well, for it was this story that inspired me to write my fifth novel. Maddy definitely stole my heart, but Ollie swept her off her feet. I remember watching the film first before actually reading the book, and while on deployment, I read and finished a great novel. I am so ready to read more by this wonderful author.
First giving honor to God, who is the Head of my life. Family and love ones, the Queen has done it again y‘all!!! I have finished my ninth book and won my seventh NaNoWriMo. I am so happy. This is my fourth book I have finished for the year. I will forever be thankful for this moment. #nanowrimo2020 #authorlife

So, my eighth novel is finally available. Yes, I am also an aspiring model. I wanted to see change, and the only way to see change is to make change. This is a young adult novel, and I hope many will actually enjoy this book. #Litsy #Book8 #newrelease
So Book 7 dropped today. The link is in my bio. I never thought I would have seven books underneath my belt, and I am ready to celebrate! This is Book 1 of the Finding series. I hope everyone enjoys it.
In honor of the Duke and Ducchess of Sussex's wedding anniversary, I want you to know that Book Two will be free today only. It was on this day last year I made the announcement where I will create a couple, Mia and Hank, whom the couple inspired me to write about. Get it today while it is free.
Normally, I participate for the annual big show, but I learned something during this month is to always try something new. Now, all I can do is celebrate.
This story is definitely another childhood favorite of mine. What made me fall in love with the sweet story is of course the diverse characters. Children, as well as teens and adults, should be represented in the books they pick up and read. Rosa and her friends still hold a special place in my heart. Now, I shall pass this along to my nephews and even future kids.
All six of my books are free today. Link is in my bio.
So apparently until I get my next ad with Book 7 added, this is what I will be doing to promote all six of my babies. I am almost at the finish line, but what I really hope is that readers take this time to enjoy the six I already have. Get entertained from the characters, educated on social issues, and encouraged with messages of hope. Click on the link in my bio. #Authorlife #Book7 #Newrelease #ComingSoon
Not only is this story my favorite, but the movie version is definitely my favorite as well. This story even gave me inspiration to future writing masterpieces, yet there will only be one woman that the story will follow. Terry McMillan is truly an amazing author. Her female protagonists are just like women in real life. I could relate to Bernadine even at the age of seventeen. This wonderful book made it to my Recommended Reading List.
This story is definitely one of my favorites. I read the excerpt my senior year and read the full length once getting to Hawaii. I may be a Christian author, but the LGBT community holds a very special place in my heart. I will soon be writing quite a few LGBT stories. Chulito, the young protagonist, is fighting feelings for his friend, Carlos. Chulito even inspired me to write a gay character. Also, this is on my Recommended Reading List.
During this time of Quarantine, why not pick up your Kindle, Ipad, or ereader, and enjoy one of my six books by yours truly? Being an author has its ups and downs, and during a time like this, I have been more up about my books than ever. Book 7 is still in the lab and I want everyone to enjoy all six books before I drop Book 7. Who knows? You may find the word of encouragement you may need. Link is in my bio.
Book 2 of my favorite series. Again, I read this in high school and truth be told, this one is actually a sweet one indeed. Of course, Bear and Otter are officially a couple and raising the Kid as a family. The end of the book is what actually gave me the inspiration to write TJ Klune to come up with the story for Dominic and Ty (The Kid). Wishes and dreams really do come true. Also, this is on my Recommended Reading List.
I remember reading this book back in 2016 and 2017 time frame. Definition of a classic indeed. This is a story ahead of its time. Benji, the young protagonist in this story is dealing with being addicted to heroin. The people close to him are fighting to save him. As I read this novel, I couldn't help but to move with the story. Benji gave me inspiration to write about young black men dealing with the obstacles of life. Recommended Reading List
I love urban fiction, and book one of this series gave me a lot of inspiration. I only have one urban book under my belt, but what excites me about urban fiction is the storyline. The two characters in this story made their way into my heart. Don't tell my fellow author this, but I even had a dream about these two. Hint hint: Book 8, that I am also working on will be urban fiction as well. This is even on my Recommended Reading List.
This was the first LGBT novel that definitely stole my heart. I had to wait a year later to read this book, and to be honest, I had even been writing LGBT romance since eighth grade. Dwayne Vernon and I are actually good friends and authors. I will even start back writing LGBT romance again pretty soon. A story of friendship and love that eventually inspired and captured my heart. Also on my Recommended Reading List
Walter Dean Myers was my hero. This prolific wonderful author inspired me to write young adult fiction. This was a story I had been dying to read for the longest. With its poetic prose, this wonderful story is about the bond between two teens. This story is also on my Recommended Reading List.
The second book from The Bluford High series that stole my heart. Before writing about Diamond and Marc (My favorite couple I created), Darcy and Hakeem gave me hope. I could relate to them both at some point and still am inspired to create young black characters as well as POC who deal with day to day situations. Definitely has been added to my Recommended Reading List.
Bluford High series were every middle schoolers favorite series that I came into contact with. These wonderful but drama filled stories were filled with real life situations many of us readers could relate to. Being an African American author, the importance of representation of POC characters was what driven me to write as well. Young African American readers should feel represented no matter what book they read.
Last month, I released my sixth novel, Front Steps on Harlem Avenue. Click on the link in my bio and check it out.
This was one beloved character that inspired me throughout my childhood. As an avid reader turned author, I believe writing children's books can be the best gift we can give to children. Ramona Quimby has always been a favorite character of mine indeed. I read other books about the beloved character, but this book is where it all begins for me to love her. Thank you, Beverly Clearly.
First giving honor to God, who is the Head of my life. Family and loved ones, there is a thing called motivation. There is a thing called dedication. There is a thing called perseverance. There is a thing called discipline. There is a thing known as wanting to throw in the towel. I won't complain, but I will say my whole right hand is hurting. I didn't think I was going to finish my book today, but by the grace of God I did.
All five of my books are free today only. Click on the link in my bio and enjoy. #Litsy #Writingcommunity
The Queen is having a Black Friday special. I will announce it on Midnight. This is my first time hosting a Black Friday special. #Litsy #writingcommunity
Matthew and Tilly by Rebecca C. Jones has always been one of my favorite children's story. As an author, who loves to write about diversity, I believe in the power of diversity in relationships and friendships. Children need to feel represented. Children need to know there are characters that look like them. I pray God allows me to pass this story on to my children and grandchildren. #childrenlit
Bear, Otter, and the Kid by TJ Klune was the second LGBT novel I read and fell in love with. During my senior year, I felt this book gave me hope to fix my friendship with an ex, whom I had been in love with for ten years. Of course, the ex was a guy, but reading this novel still gave me hope. Not only am I a reader of LGBT fiction, but I also happen to write it as well. I can't wait to share.
It has been one heck of a literary journey. I am now the author of five books and still currently working on many more. Writing is not just a gift or artwork. Writing is also therapeutic. Author Amelia Rucker
