Although I house several of Bardugo's novels on my shelves, Warbringer was the first of hers that I've made the time to read. This was a September pick for a YA book club I'm part of online, but it's one that I had wanted to read anyway. Honestly, I loved it. The feminist in me was thrilled with the entire book and how strong Diana and other women are shown to be. Definitely a good read for anyone who is a fan of comics or mythology.

My favorite of the series so far, Empire of Storms did not let me down! From romance to adventure, witty humor to intense war plans, the novel kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. There is never a dull moment in any of the different character narratives. The switching points of view only made the story more exciting - something that is difficult to do. I'm so in love with Maas' writing!
