Pickpick

This graphic novel about a woman who is diagnosed with breast cancer is just great. The illustrations are rather simple but very powerful and it made me cry several times.

currently listening to on audible. Not sure if it's the narrator but I tend to prefer other books and I'm not picking this up frequently although the story idea is very good... maybe a paperback would have been better.

Currently reading this. I'm wondering if the author thought it makes the book more modern, cool or likeable if she uses the word fuck at least twice per page... Don't get me wrong I like the use of swear language and a more blunt approach but this feels a bit silly. Ok it's also a parody but still..the tips are meant seriously?

#booktober day 3: I wanted to read more poetry this year. This is one of the very few book covers without any images that I own! First of all this edition is amazing. The paper has great quality and feels amazing. yep I'm also a paper lover haha ;) But the content, oh well...honestly I couldn't get into a single poem. The meaning of them is so hidden and it wasn't sth I could add my own meaning to. Rather disappointing read... @RealLifeReading

Really liked it. Lewis doesn't add any unnecessary dialogue which is a plus. Yes, the religious parallels are very prominent but it was still ok.

Just finished this. I really liked it, good story, art style was okay for me. Overall it just felt a bit too short so I can't make up my mind about it yet. Definitely going to read the second book because some graphic novels need more volumes to show what they're worth, if that makes sense. I see potential in this one!

This is what I'm reading at the moment and there are even more I haven't finished yet. Can't stop starting new ones, oops!
