THIS IS WHERE IT ENDS, was a gripping read. Topical, exciting, scary and well executed for the most part. Believable characters and development There was one flaw that bugged me greatly and made me wonder about the editor. If one is going to write a book about a school shooting, one that contains fairly significant amount of mention of the weapon, one needs to learn the difference between a bullet, a cartridge, and a magazine.

One of the first, and still one of the best in the post-apocalyptic genre. I first read this in high school, and recently reread it. Still taunt, exciting, detailed and an example of great story telling.
