The Inheritance Games | Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Pickpick

This was my biggest surprise and has made me a Jennifer Lynn Barnes fan. I read the first two books in 2 days and absolutely loved them. Looking forward to book 3 in August. Who doesn‘t want to read about someone who all of a sudden is left a billion dollar fortune from someone they‘ve never heard of, and why is the family of the billionaire not receiving much?

Pickpick

I posted a Top 10 of my favorite books from last year. I read 66 and my original goal set in January of 2021 was 35, so that makes me happy. While I couldn‘t quite rank where each book on my Top 10 fell, I‘d say American Dirt is in my top 2.

Starting this book with my students for the first time on Monday, and I couldn‘t find my personal copy, so stopped by the Half Priced Books by my school, and grabbed this copy. Opened the cover to see 4 other people‘s names, locations, and usernames from this app. An app I have never even heard of but loved how it went from TX to CA to Japan to GA. Tagged those of you who wrote. Pretty special. All dates were from 2017. 😂

Bookwormjillk How fun! 2y
lynneamch That is neat. I miss when you could see the names of all the people who checked out a library book before you on the card inside the pocket. 2y
