Pickpick

Finally getting a summer read in. Not a light read (am not into light reads) but a classic.

So fortunate, to have gone to an amazing high-school, that offered a Great Books course, where we were able to explore art like this. Being taught by a erudite professor like Dr. Nici made it a master class.

Side note: this book taught me I was no Eustacia. I am a traditionalist, not an adventurer. Though you have to love her spirit. #egdonheathforever #greatbooks #lovebooks #adifferenttomhardy #foresthills

I guess being "bourgeoisie" isn't so bad.

Not sure how I made it through all other great works of Russian and Soviet Russian literature, but missed "one of the greatest love stories ever told." Anyhoo, correcting!

The Master and Margarita | Mikhail Bulgakov
Pickpick

The most prolific work of Russian (Soviet) satire of all time -- it's easy to see why it's considered one of the best novels of the 20th century. Non-fiction readers like me can appreciate Bulgakov's aesthetics. Really a top pick, in my opinion.
