pickI cannot possibly recommend this book enough. I devoured it. Everyone in my family is a scientist but me, a born reader, but I think anyone (interested in science or not) would love this book. Such a fascinating story, researched so thoroughly and told so beautifully. I can only hope to someday be as awesome as Rebecca Skloot! ❤️

Beholderess I thought that the topic was fascinating, but the author kept meandering and going off topic. For example, the topic of childhood abuse, while important socially, had nothing to do with medical ethics 8y
