1984 | George Orwell
Pickpick

An outstanding view ahead of its time that delves into the importance of language, privacy, and love. Orwell's ideas become fleshed out more and more, choosing to reveal what's necessary for the moment. Winston, the vessel for our journey through Oceania, is relatable and secretive as he explores his own mind in a way that could only lead to his demise. Truly a classic, 1984 was not only ahead of its time, it remains more relevant today than ever.

Steve Buscemi should really play Syme if they ever make another 1984 movie

Pickpick

A gripping introspective into the lives of both serial killers and the people who've learned how to hunt them. A rare opportunity to look at both sides of the story to find the penultimate truth. Although bogged down by personal stories at first, power through or skip to get into dark and devious crime stories that can often teach a lesson about human nature. Highly recommend this one (the TV show isn't too bad either 😉)
