LibraryThing's Book Psychic (https://www.bookpsychic.com/) recommended Cloud Cuckoo Land for me- so far, it's a match! 🔮

True Grit | Charles Portis

Donna Tartt's narration of this classic is excellent. I would recommend this title to anyone who loves character-driven stories, historical fiction, or the American west. True to it's name, the book is a gritty adventure story, told from the perspective of 14-year old Mattie Ross, a girl seeking vengeance for the murder of her father. I think pretty much anyone who picks up this book could enjoy it!

A fun read and a fascinating look at how computer science and the gaming industry have evolved over the last four decades. Engaging from start to finish; highly recommend.

A fictionalized retelling of the shark attacks that inspired the movie Jaws, which provides the reader with the social and political context for the events. Hearth demonstrates that many of the issues we contended with during the height of the pandemic were not novel, but echoes of an age old struggle: the balance between personal autonomy and freedom, and the benefit to the greater good.
