Wow. I don‘t even know what to say. I‘ve always been a fan of Sally Field, and I just wanted to hug her tightly and never let go throughout this whole book. Celebrities are humans first who struggle just like the rest of us. Love this woman even more now.

Whew, this took me quite some time to finish. My brain does not process these classics as easily as others. I didn‘t get through it during high school so I thought better late than never. What a lovely, well-written story! A master author, that Austen. Can‘t wait to read her other works!

This story was sweet but slow. I didn‘t really care for the main character so it was just meh for me.

Taking a break from current novels to read books about books and some “classics!” I was an awful student in school and never fully read or appreciated the required readings 😐

This was a sweet story, I thought. It was slow paced which I can understand isn‘t everyone‘s interest. It was what I needed right now though, and the characters were diverse and lovely! I‘ve not read other books by this author but will soon.

Glad I was able to catch this recommendation from Kari Sweeney while listening to the @whatshouldireadnext podcast a couple of weeks ago. It was a great read and was sad but mostly heartwarming at the same time. Please add this to your #tbr list if you haven‘t already read it ❤️

This book was pretty intense and I enjoyed the character stories. Not sure if it‘s a book I would read again because it was rather dark but I‘m glad I read it once! I think everyone should.

Historical fiction is one if my top genre picks, so I enjoyed this book. I like how it tied fictional components with real historical figures. The author clearly researched well for the story. I loved it!

Finished this one during my lunch break. It was sort of sci-fi and sort of action and adventure, none of which I tend to choose. I thought it was fine. I just couldn‘t relate to the characters very much, between the social media obsession (I only use Instagram and FB and not obsessively so) and how many times the characters said “like.” I suppose I‘m getting too old...sigh.
