I want everyone to read this. This book is so wonderful, and will help young (and old!) readers have some understanding of what it can be to be trans. I'm a cis person, but also a doc who treats trans people; this rings true to stories patients have told me. Full of emotion and heart. 5 stars.

This is a beautiful book on an ugly pair of pants. But seriously, just a wonderful heart-wrenching empowering YA tale about a transmale teen struggling with family, bullies and love. But he's not struggling with himself - he knows who he is even if everyone else does not. Brava!!! Well done.

I sometimes forget that I really love short stories. Especially when done so well, as Ms. Link does in this collection.

Fantastic. This is a writer's book, I think. Like watching ice skating - it looks easy, but is so much the opposite.

I somehow expected some big reveal as the book went on; the blurb makes it sound like there's more than the inciting event that comes quickly. And, I don't understand what she was trying to do with the prologue. That being said, I loved it overall!

I love the black page edges so much. Feels shrouded in mystery...

Well, I admit it. I love this YA dystopian Kool-aid. For the second book of a presumed trilogy, it doesn't disappoint. Still trying to figger out what them aliens are truly up to.

LizzyNanney Agreed! I love of the stuff that happens with Ringer in this one. Can't wait to see what's going to happen in book 3. 8y
JennyWares I know!! I finished it and I can't wait to see what the third one brings! 8y
