Not sure if it would have been more enjoyable if I hadn‘t watched the series first and had less expectations?

Very well written. Struggled to make myself put this down. Will watch the film shortly, although it seems it wasn‘t well received.

Very much torn between pick and so-so for this. It was an excellently easy read and I looked forward to reengaging each time I had to stop, but I found a few parts a little bit repetitive and the last chapters felt strange. I‘m interested to see what else she has done and what others thought. #holidayread

I‘m not sure how I felt about this book. I was emotional more than once reading it, but something about the writing felt off. I wonder if it‘s because it started as a screenplay and was adapted? I am interested to see what she does with her next book which is supposed to be about Cilka. I wonder how it will affect the style as she‘s presumably writing straight into book form. Overall an interesting read but I can‘t see myself raving about it.

A quick read this afternoon. Enjoyable. Can see how it would work well on screen as it would be easier to hide Blue‘s identity.
