Characters: a few diamonds in the rough. Setting: Japan is unique and the Jukai forest in appropriately spooky. Plot: plot? What plot? I don‘t see much stinkin‘ plot. Overall: hopefully, this book is setting the stage for an explosive, exciting sequel. But I‘m not holding my breath.
