This series is addicting, though it's also the first time I thought I hit my "too dark" limit. But I continue because the mystery and characters are interesting.
so-soBest part is cover and title. While I did like Diane and the story as a whole, I was never sure why she fell for the neighbor, whose name I now forgot. It seemed like she had to for the story but what was the attraction and it seemed to happen too quickly. Overall a nice read but nothing more.
Entertaining murder mystery, great descriptions of an earlier time and the time travel wasn't the focus, though a bit hard to believe Miss Donovan was accepted as she was in the circumstances. Would have liked a slightly different ending but still a good read.
