This was a great read. It had lots of twists and suspense. I‘m really glad I kept reading. I loves the writing style and the little articles and slasher film inserts between the chapters. They gave the book an extra layer and contributed to the story.

I loved this book so much and I can‘t wait to read the next of this series. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants magic in their life. Novik made a fantastic setting and I really love how much work she put into the school.

This was a great book. It had a few twists and ended up in a manner that I was not expecting. I enjoyed every moment of it.

To Sleep in a Sea of Stars | Christopher Paolini
Pickpick

This was a page turner for me. I loved the setting and writing style. The author was really good at getting me to feel exactly what the character was feeling. I recommend this book if you‘re interested in space travel, galactic warfare, and extremely detailed book settings. Paolini put a lot of work into this setting and I loved trying to figure everything out. I know I missed some things, and I‘m planning on rereading with a fine toothed comb.

Mehso-so

I didn‘t really enjoy this book. I actually almost quit reading it and the only reason I didn‘t was because I hate not finishing a book. It got interesting for me very late into the book (around page 150). After finishing the book I didn‘t feel like I gained anything but questions about the setting. Rating it So-So because I may not have liked it because of the genre or possibly even the writing style.

the witch doesn't burn in this one | Amanda Lovelace, ladybookmad

Wonderful, amazing, and inspiring. This book somehow had me wanting to cuddle with my boyfriend, happy that I managed to find one of the good ones, but also inspired me to finish writing all the stories I started and never finished because I thought I could never make it as a writer. Amanda Lovelace is an amazing poet and I really love that she includes poems that encourage her readers to follow their dreams and write their own stories or poems.

The poems in here were amazing. I loved the two different perspectives on the same experience and I loved how most of the time the book was formatted so that it alternated between the two poets. The format really helped show the similarities and differences that people experience in long distance relationships.

Circe | Madeline Miller
Pickpick

It was a good book. It had a slow build up in my opinion, but the pacing made sense to me after I got more into the book. This story had a lot of character development and I feel like the pacing of the story helped me relate to Circe. I had never given her much thought other than as a side character and I enjoyed that many of the big names in Greek mythology appeared as side characters in her story. The ending was amazing and worth the build up.

This book was amazing. It was the book I didn‘t know that I needed in my life. Some of the poems hit a little close to home and at times, but by the end I felt more confident in my self. It was a wonderful story about going through trauma and the journey it takes to be better after it.
