BEARMAN
November 9: A Novel | Colleen Hoover

It must be one of the worst “romance“ novels I've ever read. The male lead is genuinely one of the most unbearable characters I've ever read, half the time he's objectifying her body and her scars, and the other half is spent being a tumblr poet in 2014. The worst part is that it's marketed as a romance which is awful in itself. 1/5 stars I hate this book.

Our human aspect was change and evolution. Over the course of the story we see the lawyer change and grow as a person which can be symbolized with our box because as you change and grow as a person you keep adding layers to your character which symbolizes growth and change as a person.

Lather and Nothing Else | Hernando Tellez

The moral conflict is whether or not it's right to kill a man unaware if he himself has killed hundreds. Me personally I think this is ridiculous because this barber is condemning hundreds more of his allies to death because he himself is too scared to kill the man who is causing it all. There was a quote the barber said “I'm a revolutionary but not a murderer“ which I think is a contradictory statement.

This book is a collection of 3 short stories and 1 that is the main portion of the book. The main portion is a continuation of a previous book which kinda annoyed me. I personally enjoyed the short stories more because there was less useless information and by the end it really gets you thinking. There's a common theme in the short stories of death and about how unpredictable and unexpected dying can be.
