I started off feeling "so-so" about this book but the more I read the more I felt myself connecting with the characters. Secrets were reveled and they became more human to me. In the end, I adored this book even though it broke my heart. It lends a beautiful voice amidst today's refugee crisis.

Finally starting Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys! It's a perfect morning when I've got my book, my hookah, Mikita, and some sunshine.
