After Death | Dean Koontz

Pickpick

Always a fun ride, Koontz novels are simple and quick to read. No monsters in this one which is unusual, but enough suspense to make it a good story.

(1989) The 4th volume in Clancy's series of thrillers featuring intelligence analyst Jack Ryan has Ryan responding to a covert military operation gone sour, targeting drug production in Colombia. I haven't been a fan of this series but it's growing on me: it's turning into a sort of technothrillers where the "techno" is US political machinery (plus enough peril to keep the ship moving). Flaws, yes, but interesting, and this is my favorite so far

I am not really a Koontz fan as in I haven‘t read enough of his books to have a valid opinion . However, really enjoying this podcast!

elkeOriginal Well, Mitchell Kaplan is an indie icon so of course this looks enjoyable! 8mo

Enjoying the arrival of book mail isn‘t just about opening the box. Unwrapping a new Dean Koontz book is layers of excitement; there‘s the book cover, then the unique hardcover, and finally the gorgeous endpapers. A signed, first edition of After Death arrived in my mailbox from The Poisoned Pen, an independent bookseller, in Scottsdale, Arizona. 🌵

Chrysalis: A Thriller | Lincoln Child

Book 6 in the Jeremy Logan series. I really like Lincoln Child's writing style. This book was an amazing look at the potential of virtual reality, with an interesting mystery at its core. I liked the descriptions of the Chrysalis compound he was called to. Having a self-contained campus is very interesting to me and it actually sounded like a great place to live and work. The mystery of who is killing the top executives and how is fascinating.

🎧 I loved the science! Great fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Twainy 😆 I was just looking to see how far behind I am with reviews and saw this. OMG I think this is my shortest review EVER. It‘s not a bad book! I loved it! The author is half of the Agent Pendergast writing team so I‘ve read all his books. ♥️ This is book 6 in the Dr Jeremy Logan series, a fun science-y techno thriller. 1y
