I‘ve have a completely nutty work week, so I am ready to be back in BOOK mode 📚
Just fininshed the one by Patterson, and it‘s a timely book about an out of control POTUS that has a vendetta against China and will do anything to put us in WW3.

Obama's 2023 list is out! As always, he reads a wide and varied selection of genres. Thoughts?

thewallflower0707 Probably unpopular opinion but I think it‘s really weird that he is still doing this 4mo
squirrelbrain As always, I think his lists are great. I‘ve read 4, own another 2 that are imminent, and a few others were already on my radar. 4mo
MittenGirlPeach Looks like a terrific list. I‘ve got several in my TBR pile. 4mo

Sapphire I really need to get to the Wager. I have it around here somewhere! lol 4mo
Hooked_on_books I always enjoy seeing his picks. I‘ve read 9 of these and would agree that 8 are very good. This Other Eden didn‘t work for me. 4mo
Chelsea.Poole Gah! I love when he does this 🥰 thanks for posting!! 4mo
TheKidUpstairs @Hooked_on_books The Other Eden didn't work for me, either, glad I'm not the only one. There are some here that I've been really looking forward to, and some that weren't on my radar at all. 4mo

"I just might get lucky, so I better make sure she likes the smell downstairs,” said the 99-year-old Carter, holding open his waistband and reaching inside to apply a generous quantity of Brut eau de toilette spray to his penis and scrotum. “Yes, sir, this could be the night I catch me some strange. Better squirt some of this stuff on my [adjustable home hospital bed] too, in case we come back to my place." ???????

A Promised Land | Barack Obama

Eloquently written with equals amount introspection and information, I found this insightful into Obama‘s rise in politics through his first term as president. I will say that at times it got a little too policy heavy which made those parts go a little slower. However, I also found myself laughing in other areas so it rounded out well. I also loved the moments when he spoke as a dad and about fatherhood.

Pickpick

This book is a part of the Farmer Brown/Duck series. In this one duck lives on the farm with Farmer Brown and is getting tired of the way the place is being ran. He decides that he is going to change the place around. This then leads him to running for president of the country. This is a fun read aloud for kids!
